Similar to the rigid frame metal buildings are the pole barn metal buildings. Usually manufactured by companies which also make rigid frame metal buildings, pole barn metal buildings are made of metal frames but usually have wood floors and/or walls. Pole barn metal buildings can be constructed for a variety of uses but are primarily built for agriculture.
The second style of metal buildings is the arch metal structure. Sometimes referred to as the Quonset huts, arch style metal buildings are designed with interlocking metal ribs that arch to form the roof and sides of the building. While not as flexible as rigid frame metal buildings in design, arch metal buildings are much easier to assemble, making them a favorite of buyers who are looking for a building to put together themselves. These metal buildings are also less expensive to purchase.
Arch metal buildings are great for garages, sheds and storage facilities because their design is not very flexible. They are, however, built sans eaves and overhangs, making arch metal buildings ideal for protection in areas prone to hurricane and tornadoes.
When deciding on the ideal metal buildings frame, take into consideration the pros and cons of both rigid style and arch style metal buildings. Both of these metal building frames make great structures for whatever building needs an individual or business may have.
